Mechanical properties of solids

MECHANICAL PROPERTIES OF SOLID

Weight age - 1 to 2 MCQs/year

It is one of the less important but an easy chapter in class 11 physics for Neet.

Questions from this chapter are asked directly formula based substitution without any twists.

The key to get success in this chapter tips to memorize all the formulas and use it in MCQs correctly. So try to practice a lot of MCQs for this chapter in a standard book.

To learn concepts in this chapter we could not read NCERT because it is written in difficult language and also the points are not upto the mark so that we can understand.
so, to learn the concept it is essential to have a good study material and notes so that you can keep the concepts as well as the formula sheet in your fingertips.

in this article I wish to share the PDF for the concepts and the formulas of this chapter with very good explaination. Please don't share this PDF as such, instead it as a blog link so that we could not get a problem for our blog.

How To Study This Chapter in Physics:

1. Watch tutorials point video playlist to understand the concepts and the formulas in the most effective manner.

2. After watching the video you study the concepts in in the PDF that I am going to share with you at the end of this article.

3. While preparing the concepts from this PDF try to make a handwritten formula sheet and short notes so that it will be helpful to you to revise the whole chapter within 5 minutes while you are revising for the exam.

4. After mastering the concepts and formulas now it's the time for you to practice conceptual questions to sharp your mind, the source of conceptual questions are NCERT book back questions and examples.

5. After getting a tip on conceptual questions now you should practice previous year JEE and Neet MCQs from the last 5 years, for this you can use apps, I have already made a video on the best apps for this so check out my YouTube and prepare from that.

6. To get a full overview and knowledge about the chapter you should practice 100 good quality MCQs, for this I prefer a standard MCQ solving book.

I had used mtg NCERT at your fingertips book for Physics during my preparation but you can follow any standard MCQ solving book to master this chapter.
